How Clout Media Grew Its Own Search Awareness by 1,313% in the First 3 Months of Its AIO & SEO Program
The first 3-month checkpoint of Clout Media running its own AIO + SEO methodology on its own website — real GSC, GA4, and Bing data, gains and tradeoffs included.
Client: Clout Media Agency
Campaign: SEO / AI Search Optimization (AIO) on Clout Media's own website — 3-Month Checkpoint
Industry: PR & Digital Marketing Agency, Thailand
Background & Context
An agency that sells SEO and AI Search Optimization has to be able to answer one obvious question: does it work on your own site? Clout Media decided the most credible way to answer that question was to run its standard AIO + SEO methodology on cloutmediaagency.com itself, track it with the same tools it uses for clients (Google Search Console, GA4, and Bing Webmaster Tools), and publish the real numbers from the first 3 months — including the ones that did not move in the right direction. This is the first of two checkpoints being published; a fuller 6-month case study covering the same program is also available.
The Challenge
Before this engagement, Clout Media's own website had limited keyword coverage, low search impressions, and almost no presence inside AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. As a PR and digital marketing agency competing for visibility against other agencies in Thailand, Clout Media needed to demonstrate — on its own domain, in public — that its methodology produces measurable results within a realistic early timeframe, not just over a long enough period that early volatility could be smoothed away.
Objective
Grow overall search awareness and impressions across a wider keyword footprint
Begin achieving first-page Google rankings for core service lines
Build initial citation presence inside AI answer engines like ChatGPT
Grow organic traffic in the first few months of the program
Report honestly on both the early gains and the early tradeoffs
Strategy
Clout Media applied its standard AIO + SEO methodology to its own site, the same approach used across client engagements:
1. Technical SEO Foundation — Auditing and strengthening crawlability, indexability, site structure, and performance so both search engines and AI crawlers have a clean base to work from. 2. AI-Citability Content Structuring — Structuring content and implementing schema markup so AI systems can parse, understand, and cite Clout Media's pages as a trustworthy source. 3. Keyword Targeting for AI-Driven Queries — Identifying and targeting the search terms and conversational questions people ask both Google and AI assistants about PR, SEO/AIO, and related agency services. 4. Content Optimization for Dual Search — Optimizing content so it performs for both traditional organic rankings and AI-generated answers at the same time.
Execution
Conducted a technical SEO audit of cloutmediaagency.com and resolved core crawlability and indexability issues
Implemented initial schema markup across key service and content pages to support AI-citability
Began expanding keyword targeting from an initial narrow set toward core service terms
Optimized on-page content for both traditional SERPs and AI-generated answers
Set up tracking across Google Search Console, GA4, and Bing Webmaster Tools to measure the first checkpoint
Results — First 3 Months
Awareness (AOT): +1313%
Traffic Growth: +200% overall, driven by clicks up 40% and website sessions up more than 4x
Keywords Indexed: 900+ keywords now searchable in Google, a +1246% increase
1st Page Keywords achieved: "รับทำ PR," "PR Agency คือ," "PR Agency ราคา 2026," "best pr agency thailand"

Google Search Console:
Impressions grew from 2K to 28.5K, roughly a 14x increase
Clicks grew from 96 to 137, up 42%
Average Position slipped slightly from 12.7 to 14.7
CTR dropped from 4.8% to 0.5%

Both the average position and CTR softening at this checkpoint are an expected tradeoff of ranking for many more, often harder and more competitive keywords at once — a much larger and more diverse keyword footprint naturally dilutes headline CTR and average position even as total search volume grows substantially.
Google Search Console, month by month:
March 2026: 24,114 impressions / 68 clicks
December 2025: 1,129 impressions / 49 clicks
The month-by-month breakdown shows the impressions growth was a sustained trend across the quarter, not a one-time blip.
Bing Webmaster Tools (ChatGPT citations): 50 total citations
GA4:
Users up 346%
Sessions up 198%
New user acquisition up 303%
Views per session down approximately 61% — precisely, average session duration fell from 11 minutes 40 seconds to 4 minutes 30 seconds, a -61.44% decline
The drop in views per session is flagged honestly here as a "next phase" focus area rather than hidden: converting a much larger volume of new traffic into deeper engagement through better UX, content intent matching, and conversion paths.
Backlinks
Backlink profile:
Authority Score: 2
Referring Domains: 85 (+2%)
Backlinks: 186 (+3%)
An Authority Score of 2 is reported plainly here: it reflects a site that still lacks a significant organic traffic history, a real limitation at this stage rather than a strength. Referring domains and backlinks grew modestly, +2% and +3% respectively — genuine, early-stage progress with plenty of room to grow, not a headline result.
Site Health & AI Crawler Access
Site Audit:
Site Health: 80% (versus a 92% benchmark for the top 10% of sites)
81 pages crawled in total — 2 healthy, 3 broken, 76 with issues
AI Search Health: 82%, with 48 open issues
Major AI crawler access confirmed "all good": ChatGPT-User, OAI-SearchBot, Googlebot, and Google-Extended
An 80% Site Health score against a 92% top-tier benchmark, and 76 of 81 crawled pages still carrying issues, show honestly that there is real room for improvement — even though every major AI crawler already has clean access to the site.
PageSpeed
PageSpeed Insights:
Performance: 52/100
Accessibility: 79/100
Best Practices: 100/100
SEO: 100/100
Diagnostics: JS execution time of 5.1s, main-thread work of 7.4s, and roughly 110 KiB of potential image savings identified
A Performance score of 52/100 is a real and unflattering number, reported here without spin — it's a clear next-phase fix, particularly around JavaScript execution time and image weight.
Heatmap & On-Site Behavior
Heatmap & behavior analytics:
Sessions analyzed: 1,444
Pages per session: 1.50
Average scroll depth: 39.11%
Active time on page: approximately 1.0 minute
Visitor intent split: Low 58.10% / Medium 39.61% / High 2.29%
Dead clicks: 5.33%, Quick backs: 3.60%

The heatmap data lines up with the GA4 findings above: most visitors (nearly 6 in 10) still fall into the low-intent bucket, with only 2.29% classified as high intent — the same engagement opportunity already flagged as a next-phase focus area.
Google Business Profile
Google Business Profile:
Total interactions: 142
Customer interactions: 171
Profile views: 269
Branded searches: 37
March alone saw 61 interactions, up from roughly 40 in a prior month
Device split: desktop-search 46%, maps-mobile 25%, mobile-search 16%, maps-desktop 13%
Google Business Profile shows the same steady-growth trend as the on-site results, with interactions climbing further in March compared to the prior month.
Impact
In just 3 months, Clout Media took its own website from a narrow keyword footprint and almost no AI presence to sharp early growth in awareness, indexed keywords, traffic, and initial AI citations. The average position and CTR softening, and the drop in views per session, are being reported plainly rather than smoothed over — they reflect the natural effect of a much larger, more diverse audience arriving early in the program. This checkpoint is a foundation, not a finish line; a fuller 6-month case study covering the same program's continued results is also available.
Why Running AIO & SEO on Your Own Site Matters
It is one thing for an agency to claim its SEO and AI Search Optimization methodology works. It is another to publish the actual Google Search Console, GA4, and Bing Webmaster Tools numbers from running that methodology on its own domain — declines included, even this early in the program. An agency willing to show that data at the 3-month mark, before results have fully matured, is an agency that can be trusted to report the same way on client results.
FAQ
Why did average position and CTR decline even though impressions and clicks grew so much? Ranking for hundreds more keywords at once — including many highly competitive, top-of-funnel terms — naturally pulls the blended average position down and dilutes headline CTR, even while total search volume, impressions, and clicks are all growing substantially. It is a mathematical tradeoff of a much larger keyword footprint, not a sign of declining performance.
Why did views per session drop? A much larger volume of new visitors, many arriving through a wider set of top-of-funnel keywords, naturally behaves differently on-site than a smaller, more qualified early audience. It is a genuine next-phase opportunity — converting this larger audience into deeper engagement — rather than a data error or something to hide.
Is this the final result of the program? No. This is the first checkpoint of a longer, ongoing AIO + SEO program. A separate case study covering the full 6-month results — including an expanded keyword set covering every core service line and more mature AI citation data — is also published.
Does this data apply to how Clout Media works with clients? Yes — this is the same AIO + SEO methodology, the same tools (Google Search Console, GA4, Bing Webmaster Tools), and the same honest reporting standard Clout Media applies across its client engagements.
